About Us

The Automobile Association of Ceylon is the voice of the Sri Lankan motorist. It is responsible for all matters relating to the motorist.

AAC is the only authorised body in Sri Lanka to issue the International Driving Permit. International SYC&S members receive discounts from our associated merchants.

While maintaining interest in motoring in Sri Lanka, AAC secures the fair administration of justice regarding motorists and enforcement of laws affecting all road users. Automobile Association of Ceylon promotes construction, maintenance and improvement of public roadways, and co-operates with legislative & administrative bodies affecting motorists. AAC also appoints and employs consulting engineers and technicians to advise its members on matters related to Automobile Engineering.
