At the conference itself, representatives from FIA clubs met at specific working groups and commissions in the fields of road safety, traffic and mobility, technical and environment, tourism, legal, letter of credit and marketing during the week to allow participants the opportunity to report and discuss operational developments.
Their aim was to exchange experience and information in order to enhance services to their own members. In some cases the collective experience is used to assist in lobbying international organizations for change such as the FIA Foundation's "Make Roads Safe" global campaign, calling for urgent action by the United Nations, which is gaining worldwide momentum.
